02. February 2017 | 85 selected decors thrilled visitors
From January 18 to 20, 2017, SWISS KRONO TEX exhibited its flooring expertise at SURFACE in Las Vegas. The International SURFACE Event is North America’s largest trade fair devoted to floor coverings and flooring design and a major platform for manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, architects and designers from around the world to mingle and share information about the latest products, trends and technologies.
We exhibited 85 selected decors from our current laminate flooring collections at the joint SWISS KRONO stand at SURFACE which we shared with colleagues from the USA, Switzerland and Poland. Although dark decors are generally more popular in the American market, our European-style designs, some of which are quite bright in colour, attracted considerable attention. Both Europeans and Americans are enthusiastic about our vintage and used look surfaces.
Some of our decors were also presented by two wholesalers at SURFACE: Stevens Omni of Canada and Republic Floor of the USA. The latter also held an installation course with our support to demonstrate how easy the snap-together system is to use. It generated great interest, revealing that many fair visitors were still unfamiliar with this technology.
“Overall we are very satisfied with the results of the fair: the new decors struck a chord with customers, allowing us to strengthen existing business relationships and make new contacts,” says Uwe Jöst, Managing Director of SWISS KRONO TEX GmbH & Co. KG and SWISS KRONO GmbH. “We want to thank our customers, business partners and everyone else who showed interest in our products, and are already looking forward to SURFACE 2018.”
